Within the same series on other season DVD's, the episodes show fine. I get close to getting any title, and then it fails, and my drive just goes nuts trying to finish, like its got scratches on the bottom surface, but the disc is brand spanking new and been in my possession less than 24 hours. Episodes show as one file by nowinyou Sat 1:19 pm I'm trying to rip one particular DVD but all the TV episodes are showing as only one large file. 0 Comments have an external USB plugged into a Win10 laptop, networked to a Win7 desktop. I have an external USB plugged into a Win10 laptop, networked to a Win7 desktop. Im having an issue with the UHD disc on Rogue One. I'm ripping them to MKV files with MakeMKV (on the Win7 desktop), in order to have video file versions with my Emby server. I've also had instances when trying to play the MKV files via Emby where they've simply stopped, and given an error message saying no compatible stream could be found (which in essence means Emby can no longer find the file, one presumes), only for it to immediately kick me to the next episode. So it's clearly not dropping out for long. I tried ripping the network-drive ISO files to a local drive on the Win7 machine, and then copying the result to the network drive, but the copy kept failing. Here's a MakeMKV log file from one of the problem rips:ĭebug log started at Mon Aug 19 09:01:12 2019, written by MakeMKV v1.14.4 win(圆4-release)Ġ01005:0000 MakeMKV v1.14.4 win(圆4-release) startedĠ01004:0000 Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as C:\Users\myname/MakeMKV_log.txt It was working fine for a week or two when I first set it up, but this is happening more often than not now. MakeMKV should process discs with most sophisticated protections without help of any 3rd party decryption software. Edit: wash your disc with hand soap and water, dry with towel. VLC for local playback, Kodi or Plex for network playback. I do not know of any software that can play a bluray disc like DVDs did. In addition MakeMKV works faster and more reliably when it decrypts data by itself. Uhhh, MakeMKV makes you a MKV file, and then you use VLC to play said file back.
